Project:  RAAF Base Richmond High Voltage Reticulation Upgrade.

Client:  Royal Australian Air force.

Value:  $1.2 million

Completed:  January 2007 

Installation of Direct Buried HV Cable, construction of a new Central Emergency Power Supply building and the upgrading of existing substation HV Switch gear. Significant planning was undertaken to reduce any impact on the RAAF Base Airfield operations and the associated civil aviation support businesses with RAAF Base Richmond. Most High Voltage outages were supported by dual generators up to 1250kVA in size and were successfully completed within a weekend timeframe.
