Electrical Transmission and Distribution Cabling

CLMI has been successfully delivering underground cabling, overhead line work, jointing, directional drilling, boring and commissioning services since achieving Accredited Service Provider 1 (ASP1) certification in 2001. CLMI currently has Grade A, ASP1 status in the provision of both underground and overhead services.

CLMI provides a comprehensive service offering ranging from 1kV to 132kV, utilising over 30 in-house crews dedicated to transmission and distribution cabling. From planned upgrades through to emergency repair services, CLMI has a large geographical footprint from Wollongong in the South, Sydney and surrounds, Nelsons Bay in the North and Scone in the West.

CLMI has completed a number of challenging projects, in particular transmission projects involving tunnel installations in the CBD. Over the last decade CLMI has designed cable installation equipment, conducted open trench installations, constructed jointing chambers and transmission duct line trenches and installed multiple conduit banks. CLMI utilises directional drilling and boring technologies in addition to conventional methods.

Endeavour Energy Panel member approximately 5 years.

Accredited Level 1 service provider since 2001, completing many subdivision and urban developments.

AusGrid Distribution panel member for 10 years.

AusGrid Transmission works including 2 successful major CBD 132 and 330kV cable tunnel installations and several major open trench projects.

Communication Mains

CLMI is a leading Installer of major telecommunications infrastructure including multiple conduit banks, cast in situ as well as precast pits. We specialise in low impact pit and pipe systems, internal building work, open cut and directional drilling, fibre optic cable installations, communications infrastructure design and route selection.
